CELEBRATION OF THE RENOWNED CINEMATOGRAPHER AND PHOTOGRAPHER, MR. TUNDE KELANI AT 70

The Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding (CBCIU) has set in motion plans to celebrate the renowned cinematographer and photographer, Mr. Tunde Kelani, as he turned 70. The story teller and filmmaker was an epitome of cinema, who has also used his exemplary skills to promote the rich Yoruba cultural heritage worldwide.

He rose from a local photographer and now sitting as the head of his privately owned film producing company, Mainframe, acclaimed for producing chart bursting films, deserves to be celebrated for his dexterity in handling the camera and also versed in the knowledge of Yoruba culture and tradition, which he is using to promote our rich culture.

For these reasons, The Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding (CBCIU) cordially invites everyone to a National Colloquium on Nollywood in honour of Tunde Kelani at 70.

Themed; Nigerian films and Cultural Revival and Propagation in a Globalized World: Past, Present and Future.

The Colloquium will take Place at Ulli Beier Hall at the premises of The Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding (CBCIU),Abeere ,Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria.
